i have bought a Bose acoustimas 15 series 2 and I have also bought a ONKYO tx-nr 3008, 9.2 receiver, can i use?

the 5th speaker as my rear speaker and use my old Infinity center speaker as my center speaker, then can I still add 2 more speaker as my upper front side speakers and 2 more as my side surround speakers?

Wow! What a mismatch! A superb receiver and lousy speakers. Sorry if I'm blunt but I have never been known to garnish the truth. The old Infinity is the best of the speakers and might do as a center channel speaker but that Bose system is severely lacking. They will work but the lost potential of the receiver is huge. This is like buying a Lamborghini and putting the tires for a Geo Metro on it - with shiny spinner rims. Those Bose jewel cubes have tiny, full range drivers (no tweeters, no woofers) with, at best a mid-fi sound. The bass module (Bose doesn't even call it a subwoofer) is a distortion machine with muddy, boomy sound and no low bass. I'm sorry that you made such an unwise purchase. Bose advertising is quite effective, isn't it? Just because it is expensive doesn't mean that it is high fidelity. Also, their speakers are designed to work with their own amplification systems and a receiver like the Onkyo is way out of their league. If I were you I'd return the Bose speakers and invest the money in better speakers like Klipsch, Polk, B&W, Energy - any brand that specializes in producing high fidelity speakers.
