Portable Speakers For Your Laptop
For those who do a lot of travelling for presentations, you would know how annoying it is to carry around big speakers to get the sound out to the audience. Fortunately for us today, you can get speakers which are designed to be compact, easy to use and light weight. Presently there are a number associated with transportable speakers that are designed primarily for use on laptops, that work just as well since the bigger, heavier and attached speakers that many people use.
I have seen a number of set ups of portable speakers where you just open a case up, which is padded and well protected. Speakers appear out of nowhere, and there are even little sub woofers too. The sound that comes out of these is just as good as your normal speakers. The only difference is that there is no playing around with cords; you just turn them on and plug the audio cable in. Some of these run off wireless too, which means that you don't even have to plug the audio cable in!
These portable speakers are designed to be loud enough for everyone in a decent sized room to hear properly, and they are brilliant for people who are travelling. Being set up in their own case means that they are easy to carry around, compact and they also look very professional. If you haven't seen any speakers for your laptop and are sick of plugging cables in, take a look at some of the portable options! What is a good kind of iPod dock/portable speakers around $100 or less?
I want to be able to listen to my iPod w/o the headphones or computer. I want a reliable product with good sound. There are so many types available and I've heard some bad things about some...so if you own a reliable product let me know please.
Most ipod dockable systems (those type that charge your ipod while using it) are quite expensive. If you find something less than $100, chances are they sound like tin cans or break easily. Just get mp3 speakers that you can use by simply plugging it to the stereo output of you ipod. Try the Yamaha cube NX-A01 (check this link http://www.yamaha.co.jp/english/product/av/products/ht/nxa01.html ) . It's an AC (110v) system which is a good thing if you are gonna use it in your bedroom or around the house. The controls look like an ipod. I'm recommending it because I have one and it's really money well spent. The subwoofer effect is really amazing! and the price is great too....
Bust a move with Pioneer's new boomboxes (cnet)
Boomboxes may not be dead after all. Pioneer's new Steez Audio music players
come in vibrant neon colors and have useful feature for street dancers. The
Type Z doesn't just look imposing; it weighs a hefty 7.4kg and needs 10 D-size
batteries for power. (Credit: Pioneer)Boomboxes may seem like relics of the
past, with the devices typically being associated with hip-hop-obsessed
caricatures on television sitcoms and those grainy dance videos of the 1980s.
However, Pioneer's latest jam box-series (slang for the portable players of
yesteryear that ran CDs or cassettes) could make them relevant again to a new
niche audience: Urban dancers. The Pioneer Steez Audio lineup is made up of
high-tech boomboxes that come with 4GB of memory and color LCD screens.
There's even an iPod/iPhone dock built-in in case you run out of tunes to
groove to. Steez Audio Type S--the smallest of the bunch. (Credit:
Pioneer)There are three models available: The Type S, Type T and Type Z. The
first two models come with two full-range 40mm speaker drivers, while the Type
Z has five speakers--two tweeters, dual-80mm midrange drivers and a large
135mm subwoofer--which should pump out some pretty impressive bass. ...
