I heard it once years ago and I cannot think of the song's title. I believe it's by Ray Stevens, though I'm not actually sure of that. In the song, he really doesn't care about his wife leaving but is devastated about his dog running away.

Win would earn Butler home semifinal (indystar)
Butler announced late Friday night that a victory at Penn on Monday would earn
Butler a home semifinal Wednesday in the College Basketball Invitational. The
Butler/Penn winner will play Princeton or Pittsburgh. A Butler/Pittsburgh
rematch from last year's epic NCAA tournament game would be attractive. The
decision to send the Bulldogs (21-14) on the road for a quarterfinal was the
decision of CBI organizers, not Butler's administration. Associate athletic
director Tom Crowley said Butler thought it had "a good chance" to host the
quarterfinal. "We were more than prepared," Crowley said. Road teams are 2-14
in the quarterfinal round of four CBIs. The CBI does not divulge financial
details, but a source said home teams must pay the tournament $35,000 for a
first-round game, $50,000 in the second round and $75,000 for semifinal and
finals games. That money is used, among other things, to pay travel expenses
of visiting teams. The CBI has an unusual best-of-three series for the two
finalists. Those games are March 26 and 28 and, if necessary, March 30. The
