Mp3 Players For Unborn Children
There is now a new piece of technology out there that will enable mothers to plug in their MP3 player to speakers that strap around the stomach so they can play music to their unborn child. Is this really a good idea though?
Positives
One of the bonuses to this is that you will not actually need to worry about moving speakers around so that it is in the right position as you can place the speakers around you. Guitars tunes, drum kits solos and anything else like this can be played to the child through the speaker system, is this really a good thing though?
Negatives
A baby is supposed to be hearing their mothers voice and heartbeat as it would seem that this is the most important thing when it comes to development of a child. Another thing is, where did the theory that playing this kind of music through this kind of technology would benefit a child, actually come from? The really funny thing about all of this is that the best composers never had music like this played to them so why would we need it. The next thing that they will suggest doing is getting some DJ equipment and scratching records as fast and hard as you can against the area your baby is sitting. Has the world lost it at last.
I do not think this product is going to work very well at all but that remains to be seen. The thing is, I am thinking that it is better, cheaper and healthier for you just to sit and talk tothe child. Playing a bit of music from time to time is alright but getting something like this is just silly.
The best advice is to just do what you feel is best for your baby, if you think one of these gadgets would do you some good then why not try it out
I have a new Surround sound system, but it doesn't have speaker wire inputs. help??
Ok, I just bought the new sony HD sound bar system. Even though it sounds great!!! I want to hook up some rear wireless speaker kit. however, the Sony system only has 4 HDMI ports. 3 Digital Optical ports and a single analog audio port. 1 Coaxil audio digital input and the digital media port.
The wirless kit (Rocketfish makes) uses speaker wire only. Is there anyway to run speaker wire into a setup, that would hook up to any of these ports?
No. The Soundbar concept is a "phantom" rear or a reflected rear design. Meaning that either it tricks your ear into beleiving that you hear something behind you or it uses the walls in the room to actually deliver sound behind your from the soundbar. These systems do not use actual rear speakers and have no provision for it.
If you want to use actual rear speakers then a soundbar is the wrong system.
