Nashville Rising Concert To Benefit Flood Relief
Right after the flood waters started to recede, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have organized Nashville Rising. This concert includes at least 14 planned performances from big names in music and is set to raise money to help Nashville and Tennessee recover from the flooding disaster. The best part is, your ticket will give same day loans to recovery as well as get you into an amazing concert.
Nashville Rising organized by McGraw and Hill
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, country music's power couple, organized the Nashville Rising concert. They worked with Live Nation, Outback concerts, and AEG Live to produce the concert. Bravado, Ticketmaster and Outback Steakhouse have also signed on as corporate sponsors of the Nashville Rising concert. Tickets go on sale today, May 14, and the concert will be June 22.
More than 14 acts features by Nashville Rising
The stars who have signed on to perform at Nashville Rising cover a wide gamut of styles. Still, it is country music heavy, appropriate for a concert benefiting the country music capital of the US. The performers include these people: Jason Aldean, Brooks & Dunn, Luke Bryan, Miley Cyrus, Amy Grant, Faith Hill, Miranda Lambert, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Martina McBride, Tim McGraw, Leann Rimes, Michael W. Smith, Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood.
Nashville Rising to benefit Tennessee
Nashville Rising will be in Nashville at the Bridgestone Arena. Tickets will be anywhere from $ 25 to $ 75 to benefit the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. The mayor in Nashville thinks flood costs might be as high as $ 1 billion. Although the concert itself won’t raise that much money, the hope is that it will raise awareness. Profits won’t just go to flood cleanup, the influx of music fans traveling to town, supporting the hotels, restaurants and tourist activities will also have a positive economic impact on the area. Do you want to go to the concert? Ticketmaster has tickets still available as of Friday at noon. Find more at Nashvillerising.org
